Just not what we always got when we went there before. Far from what it was. Don't eat the food!

The beach was perfect as always - beautiful day, clean beach, clean hotel, clean room, clean bathrooms.

We always eat breakfast at Seaview. We always love it. Not this time. The eggs benedict had no Hollandaise sauce, the potatoes were gray and tasted funny, the eggs tasted bad - expired maybe? My daughter's French toast was okay - but we had to ask three times for Maple syrup - and we had to go get salt from an empty table ourselves since no one could bring us any. Booking said we would get a room upgrade. In over 5 stays here - we have never had this low a room.

Very pleased with everything, the only negative was the drainage in the bathroom was poor. Toilet, sink and bathtub were not draining

It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing beach vacation. Would definitely stay here again but I would make sure to confirm wit

The location was great. The oceanfront rooms had a great view with a spectacular sunrise. The beach is a short walk from the pool. They have attendants at the pool and at the beach who will setup your chair and umbrella. It’s in a quiet part of Miami which is really nice for relaxing. The pool and beach attendants are very helpful and friendly.

Facilities are a little outdated but still nice. The balconies between rooms are separated only by steel railing so not much privacy while seating there. Booking.com gives options when booking an oceanfront room to either have 2 queen beds or 1 king. We selected the king bed but when we got there the front desk said their records show we booked 2 queens beds. I showed them the email confirmation of our king bed room but all the king rooms were already taken. Manager didn’t give any solution except to say we can move to a king room on our last night. The hotel wasn’t fully booked and she could have at least given more options to rectify their error.

Beautifully preserved classic hotel right on the beach in a quiet area

The hotel was built in the 30's and retains all of the great architectural feel and solid construction and has a comfortable old-world feel — unlike its shinier neighbors. It was the perfect place to spend a week with my family, including my in-laws in their 80's, and a quiet locale was what they needed. The rooms were large and clean, and the balcony was a big plus. I didn't eat in the restaurant, but the others in my party did, and gave it thumbs-up. The heated pool is large and has a deep end - something you don't see much of any more. Great beach access with 2 chairs/umbrella/towels per room provided beachside. Some rooms on the "bayside" at the ends of the building have partial sea views.

The area around the hotel is wall-to-wall high-rise luxury hotels and not much for casual strolling. The commercial strip of the town of surfside is a short walk away, but the offerings are limited. Many of the local restaurants cater to big spenders, but there are a couple of reasonable-priced places.

Great location for a vacation that is focused on being at the beach.

Room 903, full ocean view +balcony, decorated in crisp yellow and white, updated bathroom; welcoming, attentive and informed staff; public areas clean and well-maintained with features of original design like wood paneling and chandeliers; beach walking path to the east, Bal Harbour Shops to the west. Large patio and pool area with easy access to beach.

We were there with a group event that included some meals. Continental breakfast had everything you'd expect at national chain hotels that offer the same. Bar well stocked for more traditional cocktails. Modest selections at evening events. Service was friendly and attentive. Plenty of other places to dine nearby.

The Seaview is a lovely well maintained hotel. The staff is wonderful. I would love to keep it a secret because it’s one of a few hotels in this location that are affordable.

Great place to stay in Miami Beach.

We had the King room. Room was spacious with a nice balcony. It was a bay view. A corner unit so we were able ti see a bit of the Ocean. The pool was nice and warm. Very short walk to the beach. They provide chaise lounges and towels on the beach. Very convenient..

The restaurant and bar were overpriced.

Nice beachfront, a bit expensive.

The hotel was beach front, clean, the staff was kind. Felt, maybe, a little too fancy for me at the entrance.

I had a difficult time with the price, but by comparison it was a well priced property.
